As we move into late May, Lewisville offers a variety of events for residents and visitors alike. Here’s a look at what’s happening today and in the coming days.
Sounds of Lewisville Concert Series
The popular “Sounds of Lewisville” concert series continues this evening, Tuesday, May 19, at Wayne Ferguson Plaza. The event features two performances:
- 6:00 PM: Opening act by Home & Away
- 7:30 PM: Headliner Pride: In The Name of U2
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase on-site. The concert series runs every Tuesday through July 1, offering a variety of musical genres for the whole family.
Fiesta Charra
On Sunday, May 24, the Bill Weaver Rodeo Arena will host Fiesta Charra, a celebration of traditional Charreada activities. The event includes:
- Traditional dress and horsemanship performances
- Live music and entertainment
- Children’s activities
The festivities begin at 4:00 PM and conclude at 10:00 PM. On-site parking is available for $10 via Mill Street, with free shuttle services from Lewisville City Hall between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
